We will not be able to give results on the day.
Please see the Admin page for information about how we generate the race results and how you can help make the results more accurate.
Entry limits
We have a limit of 400 runners for the 10k and 200 runners for the 5k. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
In 2007 and 2008 we have had to turn runners away as we have reached the limit. To avoid disappointment we suggest you get your entry in early.
There is no limit on the number of fun run runners.
Knowing if we've received your entry or not.
When we receive your entry we will process it and allocate you a race number. We will be posting a list of runners who've entered on the website. This list will be updated once a week. If your name is not on that list two weeks after you posted your entry then send a querying email to the organiser.
Closing dates
Entry forms for the races will be available from 1 June 2009 (see link below). Entries will close on 15 September 2009 or when the race limits have been reached, whichever comes first.
We will not accept any postal entries after 15 September.
If by the 15th of September there are still places available then we will be selling those on Saturday 26 September and Sunday 27 September. These numbers will be sold on a first come first served basis. We will have a table at the John Keble School Hall open from 11:00 to 12:00 on Saturday 26 September and from 09:00 to 10:15 on the Sunday.
There will be an extra £2 per entry for entries sold on the Saturday or Sunday.
Remaining entries.
We will have a count of available spaces on the website. This count will be updated weekly.
Race start times.
The races will start at:
10k 10:30
5k 10:45
Fun run 12:15
Race numbers.
You will need to pick your race number up at the start area. We will have tables for this purpose at the John Keble School Hall open from 12:00 to 13:30 on Saturday 26 September and from 09:00 to 10:15 on the Sunday.
Make sure you leave enough time to pick your number up. Things get busy at about 10:00, so expect a 15 minute delay between arriving at Hursley to having parked your car and made your way to the hall to pick your number up.
